For whom?
You are entitled to an individual board grant if you are an EUR student and are a member of one of the following representative bodies:
- Programme Committee;
- Faculty Council;
- University Council;
- Joint meeting (Erasmus MC);
- Board of the Erasmus Sport Foundation.
Conditions
- The months and amounts only apply if you have been in your position for 12 months.
- If you hold several positions at the same time, you will receive a board grant for a maximum of 12 months.
- Members of the University Council receive a fee for each meeting attended. Members of the Faculty Council can receive an allowance for meetings attended, if the faculty has decided to do so.
- You must apply for your board grant before 1 December of the academic year in which you hold the position.
Amount of the board grant
The individual board grant consists of a fixed monthly amount. Students who receive a supplementary grant from DUO will receive a supplementary board grant on top of this fixed monthly amount. This monthly amount is equal to the supplementary grant from DUO.
The fixed grant amount per month in 2025–2026 is €383.88.
The fixed grant amount per month in 2026–2027 is €395.40.
How many months of board grant you receive depends on the body or board of which you are a member. In principle, the board grant is paid in 2 parts spread over the year (for University Council members this is done in 9 parts).
