ER (Elise) Maes

Biography

Elise is a PhD researcher specialising in the role state control plays in the disadvantageous labour position of women in Belgium and the Netherlands, with special attention to women with a migration background. She has a background in anti-state feminist theory, prison abolitionism, post-structuralist discourse theory and intersectionality.
