About the ranking

At the end of each year, the Keuzegids Universiteiten is released. This is an independent guide that assesses and compares the quality of all bachelor's in the Netherlands.

The guide is created based on student feedback and performance data. This is processed to create averages and rankings for all programmes offered in the Netherlands.

In Keuzegids Universiteiten 2026, EUC’s Liberal Arts & Sciences programme scores 79 points out of a possible 100, with students rating us especially well for course content, the quality of our lecturers, and the atmosphere on campus.

A broad and engaging curriculum

The team at Erasmus University College are thrilled with the results. “We are very proud of this ranking, which underscores what a wonderful, engaging and dedicated community of students and staff we have at EUC!” says Kees Vink, EUC’s Acting Academic Director and Head of Department for Life Sciences. 

He is joined by Matthew Harvey, Managing Director at EUC. “I’m delighted that Erasmus University College has once again been recognised with a ‘Top Programme’ award by Keuzegids Universiteiten for 2026. 

“All staff at the College can feel proud that our students see our curriculum as broad and engaging, that EUC helps with their long-term development and career advice and, that students have multiple opportunities for extra curriculum enjoyment and enrichment.” 

“It is of extra value because much of the data behind this decision comes from the National Student Survey and is therefore based on actual student perspectives,” he adds. “We can only achieve these goals as a team, so a huge thank you all to our dedicated staff and students who have all contributed to making this possible.”
