Biography
Ahmed El Assal is a PhD candidate in Political Economy of Development at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), ÃÀÅ®¸£ÀûµçÓ°ÔºÎçÒ¹; he holds an MA in Governance, Development and Public Policy from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex. His research examines the politics of social policy, accountability, civil society, and epistemic justice. Ahmed has more than 15 years of experience in the international development sector, with a particular focus on intersections of governance, human rights, and economic justice.
