Biography

Alessandra Scimeca is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Rotterdam School of Management, ÃÀÅ®¸£ÀûµçÓ°ÔºÎçÒ¹. Before moving to the Netherlands in 2022, she earned her Ph.D. cum laude in Business Administration and Management (Accounting track), her MSc degree in Business Administration, Finance and Control, and her BSc degree in Accounting and Finance from Bocconi University (Milan). Her research interests are in auditing and financial reporting quality, with a specific focus on business groups.  She is particularly interested in how parent-subsidiaries characteristics and relationships can drive group-level outcomes.
