prof.dr. EA (Elly) Stolk

Biography

Elly Stolk is Professor of Measurement and Valuation of Health at Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management, ÃÀÅ®¸£ÀûµçÓ°ÔºÎçÒ¹ and Scientific Director at the EuroQol Research Foundation. She earned her PhD at ESHPM in 2005, where she also served as assistant professor (2008–2016) and has co-directed the Erasmus Choice Modelling Centre since 2014. Elly joined the EuroQol Research Foundation part-time in 2013 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2016, holding various positions before being appointed Scientific Director in 2021. In 2022, she resumed her academic role at Erasmus University, balancing her expertise across academia and EuroQol. Her research focuses on quality of life assessment using patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) and health preference methods like Time Trade-Off (TTO) and Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE). With over 100 publications, she also serves as associate editor for Value in Health and is on the editorial board of Pharmacoeconomics.
