Biography
My research investigates how processes of agrarian transformation shape political Islam and how Muslim revivalist movements mobilize peasant communities. I critically examine the intersections of food politics, settler colonialism, and contested land regimes to explore how religious and agrarian identities converge in practices of resistance against dispossession.
