About the ESSB Study Mobility Grant
The Study Mobility Grant of Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences is a scholarship made available by the Dean of the faculty. It is meant for students who want to go on study exchange outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
- You must be registered as a full time student at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences;
- Your period abroad is scheduled the first semester of your third year and will count towards your diploma;
- You are planning to go on exchange to a non-EEA country (Turkey excluded);
- You must have successfully passed year 1; (it is strongly recommended that you have also passed block 1-3 of year 2 so that you avoid a study delay);
- You must meet the (of ESSB and the partner university);
- You must be highly motivated;
- The Examination Board of ESSB must approve of your wish to go abroad and the courses you wish to take;
- The duration of exchange is at least 3 months;
- The application for the study mobility grant, as well as the payment, takes place after exchange. For this it is important that:
- Exchange resulted in obtaining a minimum study workload of ECTS credits compensating the part of the curriculum (minor) during the time of exchange and approved by the Examination Board;
- You have fully completed the obligations of reporting back to the faculty.

Application for the study mobility grant, as well as the payment, takes place after exchange. Follow these steps to apply:
- Complete ESSB Study Mobility Grant application form;
- Gather all the required details and documents, mentioned in the study mobility report;
- Send the entire application to exchange@essb.eur.nl.
