Biography
Chantal Ho is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Media and Communication at ÃÀÅ®¸£ÀûµçÓ°ÔºÎçÒ¹. Her doctoral research is part of the Horizon Europe , supervised by Prof. Dr. Claartje ter Hoeven and Dr. Jason Pridmore. The SEISMEC project, funded by the European Commission aims to demonstrate an empowered, human-centred and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies in 17 pilots across 14 countries.
Chantal holds a BSc and MSc in Psychology from KU Leuven, specialising in Work and Organisational Psychology. During her master, she completed an Erasmus+ exchange program at the University of Bologna, where she combined a solid understanding of psychological principles with applied statistical methods.
Her research interests include human-centred approaches to trust and acceptance in advanced technology implementation. She aims to conduct impactful research that contributes to European industries in creating human-centric and inclusive workplaces, ensuring equitable benefits for diverse populations.
