We hope this finds you well. It鈥檚 been a little bit, and a busy season at that, but Desire + Capital is riding again, so we wanted to send out some announcements.
First, on November 28th from 16:00-18:00, Desire + Capital will host Andreas Kalyvas from the New School for a very special afternoon. Kalyvas will be discussing some of his new work relating to the analysis of imperialism. See poster attached for all details. Andreas Kalyvas is Associate Professor in the Department of Politics at The New School for Social Research. Kalyvas is known for, among other things, the works 'Democracy and the Politics of the Extraordinary: Max Weber, Carl Schmitt, Hannah Arendt' and 'Liberal Beginnings: Making a Republic for the Moderns'.
