Biography
David Blok is an assistant professor at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, ÃÀÅ®¸£ÀûµçÓ°ÔºÎçÒ¹. His research focuses on health behaviour change among young people, examining how generative AI and digital media affect their wellbeing and how these technologies can be used to promote healthy behaviours. Taking a systems perspective, he combines participatory methods, such as systems mapping, with quantitative simulation modelling to understand complex behavioural dynamics and to co-create digital interventions with stakeholders.
Research interests: health, behaviour change, digital interventions, genAI, systems approach.
