Biography

Petroula Glachtsiou joined the Accounting Department at RSM as a Lecturer in 2024. She earned her Ph.D. in Management and Economics from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. She has worked with prominent auditing firms in Germany and in New York, USA. Her teaching experience includes undergraduate and graduate courses on topics such as financial reporting and auditing. Her research interests focus on corporate disclosures and the associated costs of processing information. Specifically, she investigates the determinants of disclosure processing costs and their impact on stakeholder decision-making.
