Detailed course information

For detailed information on content, learning objectives, and the timetable, click on the course names in the table above. This will take you to the course-specific page in the .

Please note that timetables are subject to small changes throughout the academic year. Make sure to always check the timetable for the latest version. The timetable for the new academic year will always be made available in August. Please also consider that registering for a course during the application process is not a guarantee that you can eventually follow the course. We do our best to place you for all the courses listed in your application, but since there are limited spots per course it is possible that we cannot place you for all of them.

Exams

Most exams take place at the end of each block, in the week following the last course meeting. Should you have to re-take an exam, you'll get the opportunity at the end of each semester (i.e. at the end of January / beginning of February, and at the end of June / beginning of July). Exam dates are included in the timetable links of the .

Workload & EC

Each course has a workload of 5 European Credits (EC). A total of 60 credits represents the workload of a full year of study; 1 EC stands for 28 hours of study. Studying includes attending lectures and workgroup meetings, planning, reading, preparing for the exam, writing essays, and carrying out assignments.

You are advised to choose not more than 2 courses for each block, and not more than 30 EC per semester. We'll confirm your choice and course registration after you have been nominated by your home university. See the application procedure for more info.
